S-Chem Earns Regional Recognition at the GPCA Responsible Care® 2025 Awards

S-Chem was honored at the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Responsible Care® Conference 2025, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, receiving the 2nd Place Award in the Community Awareness Category in recognition of its efforts in empowering communities through strategic partnerships. The award was received on behalf of S-Chem by Eng. Omar Al-Omar, EHS & Security General Manager, during the award ceremony. This recognition highlights S-Chem’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to advancing sustainable community development.

In addition, our colleague Eng. Emad AL-zahrani, Polyethylene Production Engineer at S-Chem, was honored with the prestigious 1st Place “Rising Star Award”, acknowledging his outstanding performance and contribution to Responsible Care® principles within the petrochemical industry.

His innovative approach to process optimization, safety enhancement, and sustainability has set a new benchmark for excellence among young professionals in the region.

In the sidelines of the Responsible Care® Conference, Eng. Faisal Al-Zahrani Polyethylene Operations Manager, was honored for his efforts and for his exemplary dedication to promoting responsible care values in the GCC region throughout his tenure with GPCA as a Responsible Care® committee member (2021-2024).
